No, I've never had asthma. My mom kept trying to convince me it was allergies. But my throat doesn't even hurt. It's just hard to breathe.
It sounds like asthma...better go to the ER....stat!
Seriously, it could be a bad post-nasal drip - which I'm fighting now. It's making my asthma (only developed over the past couple of years) literally chronic and annoying and my allergist says my throat is irritated - although it's not "sore" as in a sore throat.
My bottom line advice is: If you know a good allergist, see them. If you don't, try to find one.
RE: Your throat . . . could be an allergic reaction; are your eyes swollen at all? Please, get to the nurse or dr!
