They generally do background checks too. They dig into my credit, they check to make sure that I don't have a criminal background.

Both sides agree, however, that the case is about U.S. citizens taking matters in their own hands because they feel that illegal immigration is out of control.

Between this and the Minutemen, I've never such a good example of a real grassroots effort as there is with respect to illegal immigration. And it wouldn't be necessary if our politicians, from the President down, would advocate enforcing already existing laws!

From my end, I am afraid my children or grandchildren will live in proverty because wages where driven into the ground by ille...err, undocumented border jumpers.

Talked to a plumber here last summer as he did some work on my house. He was from Phoenix - and moved to Alaska to get a living wage. Why? Mexican (by the way, this is a term of national origin, just like Germans)workers had driven the wages so low, he could not make a decent living to support his family. Taking jobs American don't want my a$$!
