Not to mention "we the people".

Unfortunately most are protected by civil service as they are career employees.

You bet. W should've cleaned house upon arrival. His first mistake was not taking his enemies seriously.

You can't purge permanent civil service employees. You can only purge political appointees.

The CIA, like State, is institutionally liberal. I don't know how State got that way, but in the case of the CIA, it goes back to WW-II, and the sorts of folks, (Ivy League types) who were recruited for OSS which (kinda sorta) became the CIA.

The CIA employees are CAREER (civil service) employees. All political appointments of Clinton were let go. The civile service democrats cannot be fired without cause (leaking classified information to the press). They cannot be fired simply because they are democrats. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW.

Until you learn the difference between these two types of federal employees, please refrain from posting attacks on the President because he didn't do a blanket firing.

I had to check your profile. Rump Swabs, as any Bay Stater knows, is a phrase one picks up by listening regularly to Howie Carr...

No point. Just an observation.
