True, I also object to the use of the political term "gay" and prefer instead the more clinical and neutral term "homosexual". However, the thrust of the Dalai Lama's teaching about the reproductive purpose of sex and the wrongfulness of homosexual activity is not inconsistent with Catholic teaching.
