"NIGERGATE"

I don't think we should adopt this particular term...

If Bush had not said those 16 words, what would MSM have focused upon? I have no doubt that they would have manufactured another attack scheme.

Saddam had attempted to procure uranium in Niger. Why? The answer is simple, the uranium that he had stockpiled in Iraq was under surveillance by the Iaea. He could not have used it in any form of nuclear program otherwise the United Nations would have caught him within no time whatsoever. Just how far he got is not the issue, the issue is that the desire was there and he was working on it.

This is exactly my thinking on the purchase of yellow cake from Niger. It is a story of deception pure and simple. Why the Main Stream Media allows this deception to continue is the other story. We have a Main Stream Media as evil as Saddam was pure and simple.

The question in my mind is why does Bush just stay on the ropes and take the pounding? Perhaps he should call on Helen Thomas every week in the press conference and verbally slap her around.

"To say the British Intelligence Agency did not believe Saddam was seeking to buy uranium from Niger is an outright, bold face lie Helen, and here's why."

Even the biggest lie will become the truth if you let it be told enough.

Joe Wilson's whipping boy. Remember how the media went ape over these "16 words"? When it turned out to be true, did they ever retract their hysterical rants? [sound of crickets]

I go over to the in laws to do chores for them.[Older generation].I tell them I don't mind helping them, but I just cant if they have CNN on.They will turn Fox news on when I am there. They are in their late 70s,and have voted Democrat all their lives until the last election. When they told me,I asked them a few simple questions.Do you believe in gay marriage? No.Do you believe in abortion?NO!Do you believe you should support your illegal neighbors ?No.After a few more questions, they became republicans overnight. After I challenged them to compare CNN to Fox,they could see the difference.Fox may be somewhat disappointing as of late, but I consider them the lesser of two evils!
