The rose picture is from a French country home..I asked my daughter if she could identify..She has a white rose with those tightly packed blooms and almost translucent outer petals..She doesn't recall names many times either though!That picture overflowed my monitor and had a zillion bytes..It is a spectacular rose ..I'll go search for"Eden"..I've been trying to find the name.
I love those English gardens,too!
Wow, that must have been beautiful on your screen saver. I'm going to put it on mine now to see. :) I'm not too familiar with English roses, as I'd like to be.
