"I cant complain though, because even if there arent lines at the recruiting stations, at least were getting all the stuff we need out here and we know we have the support of the majority of the population back home. That makes all the difference in the world!"
Reading this letter makes me think about the future generations of Iraqi's, Americans, and heck, the whole world who will be reading of these soldiers brave stand against evil. I believe generations yet unborn will shout for joy because the coalition of fighters had the courage to take a stand and fight for freedom.
Don't lost heart, it is only the whiny know nothings who keep screaming about the need for the war to be over and the troops to come home. This fight is worth every drop of sweat, every drop of blood, and fulfills every hope and dream of humanity to live free.

Seems like a good time to suggest folks thank their local recruiters. We have stopped by for quick visits, dropping off baked goods, sodas, what have you. Just thanking them for their service and letting them know we appreciate their hard work (and for those not familiar with recruiting duty, the hours are lo-o-o-ong and the job can feel thankless at times.)
