uhhh... (shakes my head).
That was not a very bright move. Many people died so this woman can say that. But, to make the visitor really feel at home, they locked her up and charged her too.
What charge?
Bush isn't a very bright guy - as he demonstrated with the Dubai Port Deal, Harriet Miers and his intransigence on the boarder. But then that runs in the family.
Unfortunately, he seems to be the best we can do as conservatives, and all the Dems are to the LEFT of HIM on every one of those issues.
We shouldn't be helping the Red Chinese economically, politically, or technologically - all things we have been doing since Nixon "recognized" them years ago, and stabbed Taiwan in the back.
This latest stunt by the administration is absolutely inexcusable. The woman should have been escorted out, but that should have been the end of it. Throwing her in jail for protesting is frightening. Peopl can heckle anybody they want, apparently, except Communist stool-pigeons like this red Chinese official.
To believe that we can change the political climate in a country like Red China by giving them economic opportunities is the height of stupidity.
Tienemen Square demonstrated how open the immense Chinese Military - political insitution is to popular dissent.
