True. But a legal press pass means that you agree to certain things...and not heckling the people you are covering is one of them.

Like I said, she did what she did and it may indeed have been heroic. But she knew the consequences ahead of time. Sometimes doing the right thing does not mean there won't be negative consequences.

I'm just saying that if she did not want to be arrested...then this was not the place to protest. Perhaps if she wanted to be heard, it was.

I believe this was a situation where nobody is morally wrong.

So you're in favor of any journalist yelling whatever he wants at a White House state function without penalty? Or just when you agree with what they yell?

Why not just have "open mike"?
