That wall was to keep legal citizens IN, the wall being discussed now is to keep illegal aliens OUT. I think that's a very big difference.

You are correct about the nature of the walls...There is a big difference in the purpose.

IMHO, I am a bit concerned about the construction of the U.S. wall resulting in misuse or presenting a bad image for the U.S. We have long been known for freedom and erecting walls does not have a freedom tag associated with it.
