I live in New York (until the end of the month when I move to Tampa), where we still have a Mass in Polish and Spanish at my parish.
I was listening in astonishment to one of my yellow dog democrat coworkers say he has always supported immigration, but he was hurt by the fact that all the demonstrators carried the Mexican flag instead of Old Glory. He doesn't think he can support someone who is in favor of letting large numbers of people who love Mexico more than the U.S.A. be part of this nation.
He thinks he will have to find someone who will vote against "those people staying here" and if that means not voting for a Democrat, for the first time in his life, he will do so in 2006. The massive media coverage of the large rallies where people were not proudly flying the American flag, or even flying it upside down is having effects that the participants did not envision.

It was obvious from the getgo that anti-invasion was a consensus issue. Other than Teddy assuming the Hypehnate-Fellate position at the rallies, we saw few Dims embracing illegal amnesty. Even amnesty co-sponsor McCainiac remained blessedly silent.
This was sparked by the obscene ralliers waving Mexican flags in our faces, talking about America being "their" homeland, suggesting American imperialism caused their condition, and that annexation was in the works.
These people are their own worst enemies. We can now appreciate the reasons why these suckers are persona non grata in their own countries-----and remain stuck in their home countries' subservient class. Evertime they rally and propose more laws detrimental to our country, it throws a light on the reasons why these mental midgets are subjugated by their antediluvian Central American home countries.

Regarding your "yellow dog democrat coworker" - point him to this web site: http://www.mexica-movement.org/granmarcha.htm
Further, draw his attention to the caption on the right-hand picture in the third row down -
"One of the more negative parts of the march was when American flags were passed out to make sure the marchers were looked on as part of "America".

He doesn't think he can support someone who is in favor of letting large numbers of people who love Mexico more than the U.S.A. be part of this nation. The first demonstrations seared the image of Mexican Flags into American minds. Now when they see a rally watchers count flags and think to themselves that those carrying American flags may not be showing their true allegiance.
