Well...maybe. But Conservative voters (at least in my circle) are equally unhappy with Republicans....

Are they prepared to surrender their individual congressional district in 2006? There may be a lot of justified complaining, and it should continue loud and long; but I wonder how appealing the opposition will look to conservatives on election day.

Well, that's the twist isn't it? I don't want the Republicans to lose control of congress because then we'll get two years of circus as Soros finances an impeachment bid. But how do you get incumbents to return to their roots as fiscal conservatives? The tax cuts were great, but the idea was supposed to be to starve "big gov't" of resources to make pruning back easier. Didn't happen, as once elected officials get a taste of the trough they get drunk with spending power.
