Well, apart from your claim that the Constitution doesn't prohibit foreign governments from governing the lives of Americans, which I vehemently deny and think ludicrous on its face, it has little to do with my original point (which is simply that we've effectively lost those rights if the government won't defend them).
I understand you initial point, and I agree with you, except for your attempt to turn this into a Constitutional issue, which it is not. However, if you really think that the Bill of Rights prohibits foreign governments and individuals for infringing upon our civil rights, then I challenge you to provide the textual basis for your belief.
