I think the Russians will do the classic two step and play both sides of the fence. Moscow doesn't want a full blown regional war that could spiral out of control, but they do want to profit from the mullahs as long as they can, and at the same time keep America on the defensive. The Russians will block sanctions from being imposed by the UN (to buy time to continue selling Tehran weapons and intelligence) all the while telling us behind closed doors they are with us in wanting a halt to the Iranian nuclear program but before using any kind of force the world should "exhaust" all diplomatic avenues. Garbage! Moscow will wait until the last minute, then they'll join America and most of Europe in cracking down hard on Tehran. If anything the Iranian president should be most wary of Moscow and it's intentions. Remember how the Russians burned their other "good friend" Venezuela by selling them rebuilt AK-47's and not the new ones they promised? Moscow and Tehran, two capitals filled with liars, crooks, murderers, thieves and terrorists.

Yea, but some evidence exists that Russia help Iraq move its WMD. I don't trust them AT ALL.
