Holy politics Batman, I'm moving to Tenn and running for State office. What a nice scam they're pulling over on the taxpayers:
- Salary; $16,500.00 (we be 'po folk just working for ya'll)
- Daily 'allowance' of $150.00 for 'expenses'; 150 x 365 = $54,750.00 (Ah-ha, GOTCHA suckas!)
- Monthly home office 'allowance' of $1,000.00; $1,000 x 12 = $12,000.00
- Total = $83,250.00
Sheesh, no wonder she's fighting for this job - beats working. $83K per year in Tenn is a lot of good livin'.

This job is not quite as lucrative as you think.
They are not in session 365 days a year.
There is the cost of maintaining an apt. in Nashville, gas expense's for going back and forth, etc.
Also, as another poster pointed out, you must learn to spell y"all if you are going live in the South.
Living in Ill. I imagine that you are already experience in the art of the dead voting. ( just kidding)
