This is a horiible story. What is wrong with those people, the Palestinians? I think that their regime is worse than the Nazis at heart, and it has more support from the Palestinian population itself.
And what in the world is wrong with the Israelis that they would allow such things? Why do they keep electing weak, soft parties to power?
Israel is doomed unless they break with some of the worst traditions of their past, and start standing up for their lives. Instead, they tolerate a great, big, suicidal "peace" movement.
If they do get overrun, it will be another Holocaust. We should rescue all those who stood up for their country, and let the others go. The worst thing for the USA would be to take in pacifist refugees, who have a record of very effectively undermining national defense. Let them go live (or be killed by) their Palestinian friends.
How many Jews are in Israel? ... That's how many Jews will be slaughtered when the primitives of Palestine get control. They teach their littlest children to hate Jews and seek to slaughter them. Such dehumanization of another race ALWAYS leads to horrible outcomes for the dehumanizers. The Palis are stacking up a big nasty pile of Karma to burn in.
What's really sad is that Israel's traditions of the past are filled with stories of bravery, heroism, wisdom and bravado. What happened to it? In the past they would fly 1,000 miles to bomb a nuclear plant, or 1000 miles to send a squadron to reclaim a hijacked airplane.
Today, they let an innocent, law abiding man get brutally murdered by vicious thugs with a machiavellian ideology of violent hatred.
Israel needs to change its attitude, quickly. Olmert isn't even sworn in as an elected PM yet (though he is PM from the lame duck knesset for another few weeks). You'd think he'd take this opportunity to show leadership. Instead, he shows weakness and disorder. Right now there should be at least 5 dead Islamic Jihad members and several people arrested for the murder of Al-Huwa. Right now, Israel should be showing the Palestinians that it's not going to take the incitement, the murders or the terrorism lightly anymore. But it is allowing Hamas to play the same game Fatah played, showing all who the real suckers are.
If Israel won't enforce its own laws, let alone the customer laws of nations, I'm afraid the end of Israel is indeed near. The bottom line is that Israel occupies this territory, and it has the right - under the Geneva Convention - to police it.
