State police seized more than $500,000 from a truck at the Beaver Valley power plant in Shippingport yesterday.
Two men in a tractor trailer tried to enter the plant around 4:15 p.m. to pick up large tool containers. During a routine inspection, plant security discovered a duffel bag with a large amount of cash.
State police were called, but in the meantime, the truck left. Shippingport police stopped it a mile away on Route 168.
State police arrived and the driver said he didn't know anything about the money or who gave it to him. Police obtained a warrant, opened the duffel bag and found 10 large bundles of cash, totaling $504,230.
The situation drew the support of the state police/FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, according to a release.

Why the panic? Truckers can't pay cash for fuel anymore?

It's not Three Miles island. This is the Beaver Valley station outside of Pittsburgh.
It sounds like a not so bright trucker making some extra deliveries for some druggies. If he was at all familiar with plant security, he would know that nothing enters or leaves a nuclear plant without being inspected.

Also known as Three Mile Island...Wrong. Other side of the state, near Pittsburgh on the Ohio River, beside the state of Ohio.

Its not 3 Mile island.
I guess the scary implication here would be cash and carry for some dirty bomb ingredients, etc...
