Can we kill'em tomorrow? The phrase makes no sense in terms of foreign policy. Try applying it in contemporary history and it's comes off as brazen arrogance... a snide quip... the cheeky insolence of an adolescent.
However... it would make a great subtitle for 'Downside Legacy'.
