The official police report on Rep. Cynthia McKinney's clash with a Capitol Hill police officer three weeks ago says the DeKalb County congresswoman struck the officer "in his chest with (a) closed fist."
The "event report" obtained Tuesday by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution describes the altercation as an assault on a police officer. The officer involved in the incident, identified as Paul McKenna, filed the report with his supervisors immediately after the incident occurred at 8:55 a.m. March 29.
The report for the first time provides specific details of what happened when McKenna tried to stop McKinney from going around a security checkpoint at a House office building.

"How (whack) many (slap) times (punch) do I have (slug) to tell (crack) you (thud) never (rap) to hit (wham) a sis-tah! (crunch)"
That's in "dog years".
I'm not going to rehash the segregation issue, separate but equal certainly never would have happened if the plans The republicans had for reconstruction of the south and the integration of blacks from bondage into citizenship after the Civil War had been implemented to their full extent. The only reason that they were thwarted was the extremely violent opposition of the democrats in the south.
The only reason blacks see republicans as racist are that the democrats are much better at smearing republicans or their enemies, and republicans don't care if you are black, they care about you as a person first, and as such they have always formed policy around helping all people help themselves.
The democrats have a different view of you, they want to make you need them, so the only thing they care about is isolating you and others into groups through diversity and division so that those groups have to bend to that party to get what they need, and having to bend to that party's needs has kept a lunatic like McKinney in office.
Is it unfair to ridicule a black woman for acting like an idiot by using stereotypes, well there in lies an example of how the two parties are different, democrats would never think to ridicule someone like Dr. Rice by calling her a traitor to her race, an auntie tom, or a house....well you know the word, for being stupid and ignorant, they'd only do it to get votes and to smear her so that she can't do her job. Republicans ridicule McKinney because she is stupid and ignorant and not because she is black.
I would argue that as long as the GOP strives to uphold the founding principles of the Republican party, ie. equality under the law, then we can, in fact, lay claim to these accomplishments.
But I've also given up trying to actually convince liberals of this point, so you are welcome to consider it an observation of fact, rather than the beginning of an argument.
And I totally agree with your noting a number of unseemly, and downright offensive posts directed at blacks. But, hey, that's what you get in a free republic....
A woman? Give me a break.
Everyone would laugh at it.
But let's get to a point with which I strongly agree with you. The behavior on this forum with regard to race can be despicable. Some of the discussion on the Katrina threads made me sick to my stomach because it was so racist (I am a white northerner, btw). Some of our fantastic black conservatives were completely disgusted with it, and drew back for a while..........and rightfully so.
Right on this thread there are ugly comments, that will be excused with, "Well SHE's racist so its OK" rationale, but it's never OK to say and display some of the stuff that people get away with on these threads. And for that I apologize.
I agree that most blacks are conservative, and I am bewildered by the fact that such a large majority vote for the party that wants to keep them dependent and poor, and NOT for the party that really respects them. (I don't think that this site is a reason because the vast majority of people never see this place). It's just that the education process is painfully slow.
The success of the Democrat party in controlling otherwise intelligent people is something that baffles a lot of us. (And if you hang around here, you'll find that the racists are a small minority, and don't speak for the rest of us in the least). And the hatred for President Bush who is as color blind as anyone alive, and has a greater love for ALL people than any previous President, is dumbfounding.
btw, Rush never mocked the victims of Katrina. And Savage is as conservative as Ted Kennedy, IMO. He's a nutcase that shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone.
On your last point, I strongly disagree. The liberals make their money on keeping poor people poor and black people dependent on them. Don't be fooled by them. They have no morals......no values whatsoever. That's why the vast majority of blacks have no business being associated with them.
If you think for yourself..........and you obviously do...........then you belong with other rightminded people, and as far away from any Democrat as you can possibly be.
Whether or not she could hurt the guy isn't really the main issue. Having a mentally disturbed person who punches police officers for not recognizing her, sitting in the House of Reps making decisions that affect the nation, is the problem.
The behavior wouldn't be tolerated if by a white Republican.
Obviously not to her brain dead constituency.
I have no reason whatsoever to hide. At least you got one thing right -- you are uppity.
Given the choice between yet another war between the states in which The democrats in the south would have committed genocide against their former slaves, as well a return to slavery for those that survived and saving the union to fight the good fight another day, I can't fault the Republican president of that time for his decision.
I usually use "Colored Person." Is that okay?
I watched South Park tonight. Oprah's got body parts more dangerous to the police than Cynthia McKinney!
Additionally Hate Crime laws, and I'm sure you have heard this before, are meant to increase the punishment for the thought instead of relying on the punishment for the crime as the sole punishment.
The classic example is that by using a hate crime law to convict for murder the criminal will serve more time for the thought then for the actual crime of murder. If you can't see that for what it is I don't know a better way to explain it.
On The confederate Flag issue, in the early 80's with their fortunes sagging as well as a general feeling among the black community that The dream had been realized at last, the NAACP decided that it would mount a national campaign to remove all traces of the confederacy from public view as part of their national platform, including all confederate flags all monuments to confederate heroes, and the confederate memorials to the dead.
In short within the space of twenty years, The purpose of the NAACP shifted from advancement of an oppressed people to the destruction of the icons of their former oppressors. Marketing at it's finest, they went from delivering a better life to destroying the past of the democratic party for profit.
Personally I feel the only real purpose in doing so is to hide the sins of the Democrats in the past, from black voters in the future.
By the way, I never liked Strom Thurmond to begin with, but I can't stand by and watch a man kicked around while he's dead when he took care of his own flesh and blood when he was alive. Bash the man on his ideas all you want and I will support you, but recognize that in the time he lived in he honored his own in a way most would never have done, or needed to do.
You said it yourself, 90% of all the community services and outreach programs are run by democrats. Those that have gotten rich off of the plight of blacks are those that are in control of those programs because they get to divide the pie and their cut is the biggest. They decide who gets the contracts, they decide who fills the orders, and they decide how the money is spent not the Black community, and they make damn sure that they get first crack at that money through their own businesses.
And if you don't pay along with Jesse Jackson Inc. you don't get a piece of the pie at all. It's modern day share cropping, the crop is the government dollar and the owners of the black lands are those that have placed themselves into the position of black leadership without even asingle vote, and in Jesse Jackson's case that leadership is based upon a blood stained shirt that he wore for three days running after he smeared the blood of Dr. Martin Luther King on it with his own two hands.
There has to be a better way to decide who spends the money then giving it to a bunch of party hacks and their relatives.
I do, but only through reading and my own volunteering (in a small city). But I know that large cities are all run by Democrats, Jeremy. I know that Democrats in government (I have never been talking about people who vote Democrat in elections.........I have ALWAYS been talking about the 'leadership' of the party), haven't done anything to help blacks. I know that New Orleans has been a Democrat city in a Democrat state, and THAT is why there is such poverty...........poverty that conservative leadership would begin to remove.
btw, your singing the praises of Maxine Waters and Jesse Jackson proves that you are NO 'independent'.........you really should have been honest about that, you know? I wouldn't mind discussing this issue with a liberal, if he were honest enough to say that he was a liberal. Intellectual honesty is imperative in any productive conversation, and you haven't demonstrated it (The Jesse Jackson of 40 years ago is most certainly NOT the Jesse Jackson of today........a photo hogging, racist, who cares more about getting his face on a camera than equal rights, and has done more harm than good to the equality of blacks).
btw, here in Ohio, we have a man running for Governor who will revitalize and reform this state. His name is Ken Blackwell. HE is the kind of man you should be admiring, because his conservative policies will extricate blacks from the quagmire that liberal policies have condemned them to.
There are people on this forum far more capable of educating you than I, and I hope they will help you out.
Can you help this young man out, guys??
