A peaceful school-sanctioned protest march in support of illegal immigrants turned ugly Monday when students from Santa Barbara High pelted the home of an elderly couple with rocks and eggs.
The incident took place at the home of Joel and Eloise Gomez on East Canon Perdido Street after the couple exchanged words with some of the 300 or so students making their way back to campus, about one block away.

Something is weird here... The kids had carried eggs to schoo and to the march and hadn't used them until the march was over and they were walking back? if true this sounds premeditated.
>>Fifteen minutes later, said Mrs. Gomez, another group of girls returned.
"They all lined up there and at the command of one of the girls they threw eggs all of a sudden,"<<
I missed this part.... they likely went and got the eggs.
"Liberalism: If you can't persuade them with your emotional argument go directly to violence..."
Every time.
"I'm hopeful that it didn't actually happen,"
Of course, because then he'd have to DO something about it. And he'd probably end up being the target of the next rock & egg assault.
"The 15-year-old added, "It's not fair for the immigrants to be told they're criminals."
Phillip Kuzmanovski, 15, agreed.
"This state used to be Mexico," he said. "We can't make it illegal for them to be here."
Two prime examples of the California education system. No wonder we need illegals to do "the jobs california students are two damn stupid to do".
Hmmmm Sounds familiar.
Lieberal indoctrination at it's most blatant. The school was trying to educate them? Why not try teaching them about Math and Geography and ENGLISH! Bravo to this brave elderly couple. I hope someone took pictures of the perps and those bratty girls are arrested for vandalism. These students desperately need teachers who will teach them history. This was NOT Mexico!
What's truly depressing here is that not a single authority figure quoted in the article - not the assistant principal of the high school, the "chicano studies" professor, or for God's sake the female mayor of bluer-than-blue Santa Barbara - stood up for the right of American citizens not to be attacked in their own home by a bunch of illegal alien thugs. On the contrary, all they could do was yammer about the "rights" of the illegals.
The founding fathers would be tearing out their wigs.
Life's not fair. now go home.
They should.
this is what passed for education now.
"WE CANT MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO BE HERE"
Wanna bet, Jose?
I would be suing the school and the Principal and ALL THE TEACHERS!
That might put a stop to that foolishness. These liberals never take responsibility for ther actions.
then the taxpaying citizens get to pay twice.
once for anchorbaby school brat
again for the school to hire ACLU attorneys.
Perhaps we should give them what they want and give California back to Spain.
