All of the economists I have read say that the fair tax would be a huge boon to the economy. What's good for the economy is good for Chrysler.
Of course, the bill the does nothing to repeal the 16th Amendment, so we would probably be stuck with both a federal sales tax and the income tax. Not good.

Invalid point. It doesn't cure cooties either. It merely replaces the income tax. We'll deal with spending on another thread.
Doesn't cure cooties, but it does level the global playing field, and it does defang the WTO......because the FairTax is fully border adjustable. Income based fundamental tax reform proposals are not border adjustable, perpetuate the pretense by which the WTO descriminates against our goods....and amount to being "Stuck on Stupid." Enough. Time to enact the Fairtax.
