Lieberman is the one Democratic Senator I don't mind seeing re-elected.
I'd prefer the Lieberman I know, to a New England republican I don't know.
Lieberman is liberal on everything but the war.
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather him then most other D's, and given that there are SO few sane D's in the Senate, I don't mind him so much, but don't mistake him for anything resembling a conservative. He voted against the PBA ban for God's sake.
Ben Nelson is the only Democrat in the Senate that you could actually fairly characterize as moderate in the sense that he votes about equally with both parties, he actually votes slightly more with the R's according to the ACU.
