TEHRAN, Iran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned that Iran would "cut off the hand of any aggressor" and insisted Tuesday the country's military must be prepared amid escalating tensions with the international community over its disputed nuclear program.
The defiant stance came hours before a meeting in Moscow of senior diplomats from the five permanent U.N. Security Council members and Germany to discuss the issue and less than two weeks before a council deadline for Iran to stop uranium enrichment.
"Today, you are among the world's most powerful armies because you rely on God," Ahmadinejad declared at a parade to commemorate Army Day.
"Iran's enemies know your courage, faith and commitment to Islam and the land of Iran has created a powerful army that can powerfully defend the political borders and the integrity of the Iranian nation and cut off the hand of any aggressor and place the sign of disgrace on their forehead," Ahmadinejad said.

I am beginning to think that the iranian President is now living in a fantasy world. With all this talk of 'cutting off hands', you would think that he had
this guy as his head of the joint chiefs of staff

He thinks he can do to an 'aggressor' what he does to his own population. An adequate response would be to say that any more incendiary rhetoric will be answered with bombs.

Again, I don't agree with Iran. I think the aggressor's head should be cut off. Would the President of Iran please place his head on the block?

We'd probably have to impeach a president and put him in a straight-jacket for acting like most of these idiots.

Not to mention the fact that Anakin probably didn't engage in the Arabic "left-hand" thing, so he probably at least smelled half-way decent.

Fred Phelps maybe, though he's so far out there, he's off the wing.

They really need to get a new line. The hands thing is the same one they used during the overthrow of the Shah.

Can the "Line of Death" be far behind?
This is a line of death, you cross it, you die.
Ok, this is another line of death, cross you die.
Ok, here's another line.
Another line.
All right, that's it, you come knocking on my door, I'm not coming out.

This guy is more like Hitler. They also have their propaganda machine going at full blast. I guess he thinks this will help him get away with it. The Russians and Chicoms will help. They will help to see that diplomacy takes as much time as their client needs to complete their bombs. I expect at some point they might use the Korean method of fooling the west. I think we have already lost our will to take the action that is needed. I feel very worried for my Grand Children who will have to bear the brunt of this problem in the future!
