I graduated from a public high school six years ago.

When I was there, while the students weren't on the fast-track to sainthood, they were mostly decent kids little different than my parent's generation. Kids today are no different than they always have been.

I do know that my A.P. English teacher would have failed me, however, if I handed in a paper that was all one paragraph. Your screed, even if it made valid points (I think it did not) was utterly unreadable.

Hey, you there! Yah, you in the back! Let's show a little respect for our elders, eh? Not everyone knows how to make paragraphs. That doesn't make what they say any less valid.

How did you know if the poster made valid points if her article was"utterly unreadable"?

Dang whippersnappers, think they know it all!

Then you need to learn to read. I had no problem at all reading it.

I appreciate your article. People need to hear this more often.

I'm reminded of a Bobby Knight interview that I saw on Letterman one night.

Letterman asked Knight what he thought of the kids he coaches these days. Knight replied that kids hadn't changed, but that adults today were worse.

Your screed, even if it made valid points (I think it did not) was utterly unreadable.

And that is your solution, to rank on the poor woman instead of helping? Your observation, while quite accurate, is also totally useless, begging the question of why make it. Put in some paragraph marks for her, it should be a minutes work for you, and be a hero.
