I remember a singer way back in the 60's who had a hit called "suspicion". I think his name was Terry Stafford It was terry Stafford, who made Doc Pomus' 'Suspicion' a top ten hit in 1964. Elvis recorded it a few years earlier, but it did not top the charts.
Another guy, often called an 'Elvis impersonator' was Gene Vincent. His 'Be bop a Lulu' is truly a classic rockabilly tune. Sad story about Gene Vincent, one of many rock tragedy's.

Ah, "Sweet" Gene Vincent, greatest rocker ever from my home state of Virginia! The story goes that Elvis' mama heard "Be-Bop-A-Lula" on the radio and called The King to congratulate him on his new hit.
Not only was Gene a great singer, he had one of the all-time hot guitarists in Gallupin' Cliff Gallup. How I love their music!
