RAdio and TV are all the same. The advertising is sold at x dollars per 1,000 viewers or listeners.. The value of x is based on the age and income of the audience.
If you don't hold the audience you are fired. O'Reilly has the largest audience on FOX. He will be paid millions as long as his audience stays large. If it falls he will be fired.
That is the name of the game. And the way it works.
Bill O'Reilly earns his pay. He can easily justify it because his program is rated Number One, the most watched show on TV right now.
