PING
I new all along Rummie was incompetent, how could he let this slip by? /sarcasm
You think that's young??? You should see the 2LTs! I have shirts older than they are.
Maybe they'll find out who took the truck and brought the "ladies" on base while I was AD.
SGT. Bilko did it!!!!
How'd you like your dad being a member of an Interrogation Battalion? Talk about getting-away with NOTHING!
Your papers please!!! Schnell!!!!
That KID is a Lt. Colonel? Good Golly! Cops and Colonels look younger to me every d@mn day, LOL!
Come stumblin in the back door half-drunk.
"Have a seat, son".....
Imagine the poor guy that calls on the daughter of one of these troops to take her on a date,..... ouch!!!!
"The 201st Military Intelligence Battalion comprises 147 active duty soldiers"
Sounds more like a company. The companies must be platoon size.
"Talk about getting-away with NOTHING!"
My Dad was a Navy Commander. I didn't get away with much...I don't remember a day when Mom, Sis, me, the dog or our home wasn't 'Ship Shape.' But I showed him; I ran off and joined the Army at age 17, LOL!
And he was always very proud of his land-lubber 5'2" Tank Commando. ;)
You'd think that as a Kid of a Squid I'd be a Water Dog, too. I'm scared to DEATH of open water. Can't stand it. It would be the worst torture imaginable to put me on a boat and shove me out to sea. *SHIVER*
My kid went through SERE training.
Though she cannot tell me much, she says when the interrogators get to you, they already have almost everything they want to know. And they know almost everything about you.
Oh Lord! I bet your dad was fit-to-be-tied when he found out you were joining the Army!
He was really quite supportive. I think he was just amazed that I would want to extend my military life after living it since birth. I mean, I WAS your typical teen with no goals or ambitions, though I was done with High School by age 17 due to him hiring ruthless tutors for us as we traveled around.
But, he said he wasn't paying for college and that it was "18 and out" and the military was my "out."
I've never regretted ONE DAY of the 20 years I served. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...if my knees would let me, LOL!
He was very, very smart. He could always make me think that things were "my" idea when they were really his all along. And the fact that I later married a Navy SEAL was cause for MAJOR celebration, I tell you what, LOL! That Fairy Tale Wedding Dad paid for was simply amazing. And he was also there to pick up the pieces when that marriage fell apart years later. :(
The nut didn't fall far from the tree. He still gets his way to this day, no matter what...the loveable jerk, LOL! :)
That may just be the Cadre and the other Companies are yet to come.
This sounds like an excellent approach.
