We were driving from Paris to the south of France and just happened to see something about this near by castle when we stopped for gas. That is the way we like to travel, just finding our own way and discovering things along the way. We finally found the castle and the caretaker spoke no English, he did give us a printed history of the place. It was built in the 11th century I think and furnished with antiques from the middle ages. Nothing was mentioned about being haunted I was just speculating.

We have stayed in hotels and asked for the haunted room several times, once we actually had a strange experience.

Your preferred way to travel is by car there? I prefer First Class overnight sleeper trains through those little countries. Get a map and plan that. It's worth it. Britrail too. Do 1st Class on the Sealink ships. Those are very big ships that they call ferries in Holland.

Just kiss a nice Spanish woman on the Med before catching the train at Alicante. End up kissing another nice one in Dunvegan, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Have fun!
