What you have to consider is that your vote for a liberal Republican is also a vote for Speaker of the House Hastert and the Republicans holding the Chairmanships of the committees.

Unless seeing the House Judiciary Committee under the control of John Conyers doesn't bother you. It sure bothers me!

I REALLY feel the same way as you do. But the crucial vote of every Congressional term is the Vote for Speaker and the vote for Senate Majority Leader. That's the "control" of the House. Even the RINOs are bound to vote for our guys. (Jumpin' Jeffords jumped ship but he's OUT). Just remember: that vote controls subpoena power, budgets...everything? Sometimes I think we have to vote for the Devil we know to avoid the real Hell below.
