Actually I do. I think it's a great way of telling the Iranians that serious folks with the SecDef's ear believe we have to do it. I personally think we have to do it. Let them believe it. Right now, we've got to use the stick on Iran. Maybe later they'll listen to carrots. Then again, maybe not.
Y'know, ever since that Dubai Ports kerfluffle, the MSM has begun a process of: 1) Framing the issue by repetition of a common line, 2) Publishing push polls supporting their bias and 3) Running non-stop stories about the total collapse of the Pubbies if they don't get on board.
Darn thing seems to be working, if you believe everything you see in the MSM.
IMNSHO they haven't got anything right (zero accuracy in predictions) since they managed to get Gingrich run out of town, but if you want to take CBS or the rest of that bunch of bums as oracles, I can't and won't twist your arm.
Just consider the source of all this thundering and how many times it's already been tried.
Regarding McInnerny, I don't think he is necessarily the end-all on military expertise. On the other hand, while we are talking about this perhaps you would like to level some criticism at Colonel Hunt, who is working as a military advisor to Hillary Clinton.
MY point is that if people put opinions out in the public square, they are not above criticism themselves. You have every right to your opinion and comments about General McInnerny. I have every right to my opinion about the 6. That's all.
I am glad Tony is going to make an effort to have some of those guys on, so that we can hear for ourselves what the criticism is, rather than the paraphrasing of the press.
