Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Something I Didn't Know: Never Married Men Make 62 Cents to the Dollar of a Married Man
Links
http://qtmonster.typepad.com/

The March 2006 Issue of The Limbaugh Letter (Rush Limbaugh's newsletter) features an excellent interview of Kate O'Beirne of National Review. In the interview, Ms. O'Beirne talks about her new book, Women Who Make the World Worse, and mentions that never married men make 62 cents to the dollar of a married man. Why is that:

I don't think it's mere convention, Rush. I think employers find married men, given their responsibilities, to be more reliable.. As has been said, men show their devotion to their families by working hard. Women show their devotion to their families by showing devotion to their families. These men are no less devoted to their family than the woman who's staying home with children. But they express caring for their families by working as hard as they can and earning as much as they can. I think that's what employers recognize. They're steady, they're sober, they're reliable, owing to their family responsibilities.

Generals Gone Wild

As retired generals peddle their books and their critiques of our war policy, national security correspondent Douglas Hanson http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=5415 and military historian John B. Dwyer http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=5414 confront them with some awkward history.

We have all heard about Kerry writing two different letters to two different constituents during the first Gulf war. One supported the war and one was against. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it was Senator John Heinz who brought these memos to the attention of the republicans. I think sometime shortly before his death he was at some sort of republican fund raiser and made fun of Kerry pointing out how he was on both sides of the same issue. If I'm correct, I bet he would be really proud to know his wife married gigolo John.

With Newt's sleazy background I think the "kiss" may have been reciprocated. LOL.

A must-read from Jack Risko

Jack Risko of Dinocrat has made a very telling comparison in a post entitled “Iran’s Rhineland Moment.”

I'm curious as to your wife's take on the Russian enouragement of Iran...one would think that would be against Russian interest since the Iranians are funding the Chechnyans as well as unrest in all the -stans on their periphery. Russia has always wanted to take over Iran, not give them nuclear weapons...Maybe you don't know, but I'm just curious since her nephew has done five tours in Chechnya whether or not there are opinions in that quarter.

You know it's rough now, from American Thinker:
http://www.americanthinker.com/comments.php?comments_id=4903

Donny Boy (an alternative lyric to a favorite song)

Oh Donny boy, the snipes, the snipes are bawling,

From spin to spin, some generals now decide,

The war’s all wrong and for your head they’re calling,

‘Tis you, ‘tis you must go, they want your hide.

But guard your back from those now in the meadow,

From starry pundits claim they told you so.

To hype their books, they snipe you from the shadow,

Oh Donny boy, oh Donny boy, they hate you so.

And if you run when all the media’s lying,

Then truth is dead as dead the truth may be.

They’ll howl and hound you ‘til you are a’ dying,

And spiel an evil epitaph for thee.

And they will sneer no matter what befalls thee,

At all your dreams of sweetest victory,

For if you win they’ll still not ever love thee,

You’ll see no peace until Bush cuts you free.

Oh Donny boy, the snipes, the snipes are bawling,

From spin to spin, they’re crying for your hide.

Your war is lost is what the media’s calling,

‘Tis you must go, they want ol’ Rummy fried.

(With a tip a’ me hat to the gent who penned the original)

Very true.

Can you imagine hearing the words Speaker of the House Pelosi and Chairman of the Judiciary Committee Leahy?

It is NOT American to allow illegals to go to the front of the line. By allowing illegals to stay in the country, and receive amnesty they are going to the front of the line. If they qualify for citizenship in 11 years, then that will be ahead of 99% of immigrants who have been waiting in line. I know, my stepdaughter is in the FIRST FAMILY PRIORITY PREFERENCE, and it will take her 11 to 15 years to gain citizenship.

OK I'll admit it…Mrs. Suhks and I are closet “Sopranos” watchers. Sorry God!

Did anyone see on last night's episode that they are now embracing the homosexual agenda? It’s sad they caved to the PC Holyweird.

It runs chills down my spine, Clint...it's why, after the primaries, we have got to hold our nose and just vote GOP and get our friends out as well. Otherwise, that could very well be the result. And contrary to the last caller, I don't think we would be building "new leadership" in the out years. It for sure would elect Hillary(?) in '08, and probably '12. We've got to fix our problems straight up in the primaries. And if we don't win this time, keep within the GOP until we do get it fixed next time.

No round up is required. A simple pledge to arrest, identify, and deport any illegal caught in a crime. If the current illegals never use public welfare or never commit a crime, they have won the brass ring and can die here peacefully, albeit, illegally.

But, anyone here who uses public welfare, avoids paying taxes, or commits a crime will eventually be discovered and deported. The growing impact of Hispanic gangs lends testimony to the need to deport illegal criminals.

Until the problem of border security is addressed, all other offerings simply act as enticements to attract additional illegals!
