I'll do it, if you don't want to. With full attribution, of course.
Go ahead, send it in. She might respond.
You go ahead, that way she'll get 2 rebuttals in one.
Hey Liz, you are a meathead!
4. Don't put anything in an email that you wouldn't mind appearing on the front page of your hometown newspaper.
Typical racist spew from a wonderful liberal, no doubt.
No, no, no. She is NOT at fault in any way. It is ALL the men's fault.
A woman who decides to strip for money, and spend that money on booze and drugs is just trying to get by.
But a man who watches her do that is bad, bad, bad!

Sheeple brainwashing at our guvment skools?
She worked for an "escort service"...most folks know what that means. Allegations of multiple guys raping a woman in a bathroom is generally classifiable as alleged "gang rape". What would you call it? These kids are being railroaded by a DA playing to his black constituency. If you reversed the races in this situation the media would be going berserk that the DA would even think of bringing charges. The candle light vigils would be for the black athletes and not the white "exotic dancer". And Jesse Jackso (nor anyone else) would be offering to pay for the white "exotic dancer's" tuition.
Exactly right. They have conditioned themselves. If a STRIPPER is found to be within a thousand miles of a Republican, she's a STRIPPER. If she's caught drunk inside a Dem's car, she's an EXOTIC DANCER who's just trying to break through life's obstacles to become a brain surgeon or something.
No, she didn't. There are enough facts established to show that isn't so.

Where did you find that "fact"? She claimed there were 3 guys in the bathroom, and that one "assaulted" her. How is that "gang rape"?
Facts matter. You can't make a point by ignoring them.

Good Grief. FYI, there is this place called "Google" where one can find many things. 10 seconds there would have set you straight. If it's too hard, let me do it for you.
You can find anything you wish on Google. That doesn't mean it's true.
The google search links to thousands of stories of alleged gang rape.
I'm not angry at myself. This whole thing smelled from the beginning. Bunch of racist jocks raping a black stripper in their frat house. Not believable.
She was unhappy with something - probably the money - and dropped the rape bomb. Probably had rough sex earlier in the evening.
"Gang rape" was the label attached to the supposed crime. It's the sound bite. It has nothing to do with any actual allegations.
There's a lot of chat about "hot topics", but most of it doesn't prove a thing. Google "Bush lied" or "Global warming" and you'll get a lot of hits, but not likely any substance.
I originally believed that something like that happened - and, frankly, I think if they had sex with a drunk or doped stripper, it's equivalent to rape.
But from what we've heard so far, I think she invented everything, including the sex.
I think now that I was too quick to believe the media reports (think I won't do that again!). From the latest reports of her condition at the shopping center, the fact that she had bruises before she got to the party, and that it was her fellow stripper who drove her to the shopping center, I doubt very much that any sex took place.
Indeed, facts do matter, and you are certainly ignoring them itn this cas. If you think the woman didn't work for and escort service and you don't think that she alleges multiple rapists then perhaps you should review the newspaper article below. To make it easy for you I have highlighted the relevant facts that you continue to ignore.
DURHAM - A dancer who reported that she was raped by members of the Duke University lacrosse team said she thought she would be dancing for five men at a bachelor party, but she and another woman were surrounded by dozens. Men shouted racial slurs at the women, both black, she said in an interview with The News & Observer of Raleigh. "We started to cry," she said. "We were so scared." No arrests had been made by late Saturday after 46 members of the men's team submitted DNA samples to police. "We're asking someone from the lacrosse team to step forward," Durham police Cpl. David Addison said. "We will be relentless in finding out who committed this crime." Duke's athletics director said Saturday that the team will forfeit its next two games -- a match Saturday against Georgetown and one Tuesday against Mount St. Mary's. "I am dismayed by the party on March 13 held by members of the men's lacrosse team at an off-campus residence," Joe Alleva said in a statement. He said the players deny the criminal allegations. "Several players who were present acknowledge, however, that they did hire private party dancers and that underage drinking occurred," Alleva said. The woman said the reported assault took place in the early hours of March 14 near Duke's East Campus. She said she worked for an escort service to help support her two children and pay for classes at N.C. Central University. Police records show officers have been called to the house where the reported http://www.charlotte.com/mld/observer/news/local/14189543.htm
Yes, you do have a newspaper article saying she worked for an "escort service". And I won't quibble about whether her claims to have been raped by "members of the team" is the same as a gang rape.
But my original post in this thread was about how I bought this whole story based on newspaper articles, and now I find that most of what I read isn't true.
I don't see anything in the article you posted that makes me think they have investigated anything. They are reporting the same rumors that many other newspapers have.
We do have to be careful about believing what we read. I would have more faith in what this article says if, for example, the reporter had said that "the owner of the escort service told us" - after all, if she was working for an escort service, the owner would know whether she had been sent to a bachelor party or fraternity party. Why didn't the reporter talk to the escort service?
And how many guys does she claim raped her? The news reports are all over the place about that detail. One? Three? 46? If it was one or three, why did they need DNA from 46? Surely these guys didn't all look the same. Where is the explanation for that?
