In general, I guess I don't understand why the Constitution party doesn't do several things:

1) First and foremost, why are they not trying to win votes PREDOMINANTLY from Democrats by limiting their drumbeat to DU and Salon? Are they not interested in serving all Americans?

2) Why are they not EXCLUSIVELY running candidates in lower office positions until they have at least 1/3rd representation in state houses? Isn't this the way to determine if policies appeal to people -- seeking to represent them where they live?

3) Until item 2) is achieved, why would the C party think it has candidates qualified to deal with legislative intricacy, or staffing expert in legislative intricacy?

4) Why is not the C party demonstrating that it is interesting in being a party rather than a spoiler by engaging in the sort of party building activities represented strictly by 1) and 2)?

Perhaps spoiling rather than party building is the agenda. If so, and in the absence of all of the above that is the ONLY possible conclusion, then these posts remain focus diluting vanities.

This is an excellent point. However, most people, whether you want to admit it or not, don't know much at all about who is running for local offices. Most people do, however, closely follow national elections. The CP will never gain more support if people don't even know about them. By running candidates for national elections they are at least able to get more people asking questions about them. They may not make much of a dent in national elections right now, but by using any opportunity they can to let people know that they are there they can use this publicity to garner support at ALL levels.

That's it. In fact, most of the Constipationists admit that "teaching the GOP a lesson" is the reason for voting for these losers.

It's like the guy whose dog messes on the carpet and, in order to teach the dog a lesson, he locks himself out of the house.
