G'Day, Oz! Happy Easter :)
Still no sign of AI on TV here yet...
Really? It's not airing at all over there?

no sign at all - they will be soon airing Australian Idol's new season so I'm guessing that American Idol has been given the flick this time around. Has this season been any good??

Has this season been any good??Well that's a subject of much debate around here :)
As far as raw talent goes, I think this is one of the best groups AI has ever assembled. But as far as personalties go (and song choices and performances)--a lot of it has been rather week.
Have you been lurking on the Idol thread?

Hope your having a happy Easter, too.I am, thank you for asking. I had my Easter when I went to Catalina Island on Friday. It was raining -- the first time it rained when I went out there, but I loved the rain. Catalina is a little bit of heaven on earth for me.
Saw an unusual amount of wildlife, probably because of the weather. Seals, sea lions, various sea birds. On the way back the sun was coming out, and a huge pod of dolphins were swimming parallel to the island heading south. Dolphins, being mammals, are air breathing, so they breach like whales when they swim. There must have been easily over 100 animals. The captain of our boat turned to run parallel to the pod for awhile, and the animals were swimming and breaching all around us. It was spectacular.
They say home is were the heart is. That's where mine is.

While the songs mentioned certainly are representative of the Brit's hopefulness for peace, A Nightengale Sang in Berkeley Square is probably the most ROMANTIC British song of WWII.
I may be right
I may be wrong
But I'm perfectly willing to swear
That when you turned and smiled at me
A nightengale sang in Berkeley Square
Even a world war couldn't stop love.

It's pathetic and sad. The kids--even the young kids of the gay couples--don't care one way or another. They just want to run around and have fun. But the homosexuals are so self-centered that they can't see that--or don't want to.
And they're going to wear rainbow colored leis to identify themselves?? LOL, like no one could spot the gay couples otherwise?

That sounds like a perfect day in a perfect place.
I saw horse today. And a few dogs. That's about as exotic as it gets around here ;)
