I'm not sure what I believe so far. She has the legal right to make the claim just as you or I would.
sorry. there is no legal right to make a FALSE ACCUSATION. it is prosecutable, and it damn well should be if that is what happened here.
Is the district attorney black?
That's what trials are for... for all the evidence in support and against to be presented.
And they have a legal righ tto be innocent until proven guilty. A right they have been denied.
I realize that in most jurisdictions that false reporting is a crime. Where have I stated otherwise?
criminal trials are appropriate only when there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. there is quite a bit LESS than probable cause to believe that a crime occurred here.
"And they have a legal righ tto be innocent until proven guilty. A right they have been denied."
Huh? How did you come to this conclusion?
That's curious...I was just thinking last night, "What would I do if I falsely accused someone and it got out of control?" I realised the only thing I could do was leave town.
If it's true, that show me beyond a reasonable doubt that she was LYING.
you said she has a legal right to make the claim, just as you or i would. that is true only if the rape actually occurred. her being a stripper or drunk has zero impact on her legal rights, you are correct, but the actual crime has to have occurred in order for her to have a legal right to make the claim.
That's your opinion. We'll see if there are indictments or not.
indictments prove NOTHING. i am certain you have heard the phrase that you can indict a ham sandwich. if the jury is following the lead of a prosecutor bent on prosecuting this, they will indict regardless. RARELY do juries not indict.
That's one of the most absurd things I've seen posted on Free Republic in quite a while.
I suggest you spend some time reading all of the source articles with the DUKELAX keyword, and not continue digging until you've done so.
No, but he's up for re-election, and is pandering to a voter base that I believe is about 40% so.
The DA wouldn't even need an all-black jury. In Durham there are quite a few left-wing white women who would serve the DA's purpose equally well on a jury. Check out this chick's rant ("But as a woman, I cannot imagine making those accusations unless they were true"):

Google "Brawley."
Indictments=charges=possible future criminal trials. What's your point?
