J.D. Hayworth was also not very hawkish on the border at first, and then he changed his tune once he got a close-up look at the situation.

Yep.

But, in Dutch's defense, he had a Dem Congress that wasn't afraid to lie.

The current leadership not only has a GOP Congress, they have public opinion on the side of enforcement.

But they won't act, because notwithstanding their rhetoric, they're on the wrong side.

George Allen's political gurus are Bush political people. Everyone better get their brain around that.

And Ed Gillespie, who runs Allen's money operation, is the leader of the OBL.
