He don't know how parliamentary systems actually work. When was the last time that a British Government was brought down by a vote of confidence? The reason is that such governments are essentially monarchical, with the Government in the hands of the Parliamentary Majority Party.

My windshield wipers go flap flap flap and Robin William's mouth goes flap flap flap. The difference is the wipers are useful.

Williams hasn't been funny for several years. Seems he got the virus that makes comics turn serious, (in their own mind).

I am so proud of you Canadiens. I had long thought that your country was lost and there was no return to common sense. Keep moving right and never let your politicians sell out like our Republicans have. Congratulations!

What are you trying to say? Parliamentary governments are never brought down by vote of confidence . I'm not even sure if a specific vote of confidence has ever been held. On the other hand, a vote of non confidence has only one consequence .

THE 38TH PARLIAMENT June 28, 2004-Nov. 29, 2005

Canada's first minority government in a quarter of a century fell on the night of Nov. 28, 2005. The Conservatives, New Democrats and Bloc Québécois united to defeat Paul Martin's Liberals by approving a simple motion: "That this House has lost confidence in the Government."

The vote came exactly 17 months after Martin failed in his quest to lead the Liberals to their fourth straight majority government, in his first outing as prime minister.

That's very nice of you to say, rodeo cowboy.

I had long thought that your country was lost and there was no return to common sense.

LOL. So had a lot of us.

I'll admit it was sometimes tough to be a FReeper from Canada in 2002 when I joined.

I guess it just shows that the fight is never really over.

I wish you all well with your illegal alien problems.
Like us, just keep up the good fight.

:-D

I am saying that it is not at all likely, except in a place like Italy. Remember that this was the Liberals third chance to redeem themselves. Anglo-Saxons don't like frequent All your PM has to do is to mind his P's and Q's until the country learns to trust him and then call for an election at a time of hius choosing.

Some of the things allowed under the previous Liberal administration were neither civilized nor refined. It's a pity the Hollywood jerks don't stick to acting. Arguably what comes out of Hollywood does more to tarnish the US than anything else.

When the federal election was held in January, Williams was in Toronto shooting an American political satire...

Williams is another bigtime phony phraud, not for his gayblade libwussy political opinions, but because he gushes with claims of support for the Democrat labor unions while simultaneously fleeing to Canada for all his filming so he can skip paying union wages in the US.

Man, these lib Hollywood types take the cake when it comes to speaking out of both sides of their ass.
