No, I would not. Under certain circumstances, it's conceivable that it might be the only option available for one's survival. When it comes to survival, all bets are off.

States and individuals aren't all-that seperated. In fact, you have to have individuals to make a state. (First come individuals, then comes marriage, then comes the State in a baby carriage. ;^)
