It would be hard to find now but there was an article posted last night where a journalist was attacking the six retired generals. He pointed out (accurately) that the generals served at the pleasure of the President and should not be grading their superiors. Then he took the next step and said that deciding whether the war was going okay was up to Congress, voters and investigative journalists.

Yesterday .. my local radio guy was talking with Lieutenant Colonel Scott Rutter about the generals and their comments

He was not at all happy with what they said .. especially since we are at war .. he listed a whole slew of reasons .... he said respected their service to our country ... but said they were wrong to speak against the CIC like they did because they are retired generals who could be called back into service at any time if they were needed

He also made a comment about one of the generals that caught my attention .. I can't remember the generals name ... but he was was in Iraq the same time he (Rutter) was

Anyhow .. Rutter said that when he first heard about these comments it surprised him ... he said it was completely different from what the general said and acted like when they were in Iraq

Rutter said .. if this general had such a problem .. why didn't he say something then
