"Following the Bible" is not why Jesus was "incarnate by the Holy Spirit and became man."

The Father sent His Son to earth for two reasons:

1. To defeat death - celebrated today in the West - next week in the East.

2. To establish the Church - celebrated in 50 (57) days at the Feast of Pentecost.

There was no Bible for hundreds of years after the Resurrection. 327, I'm thinking is when the canon of Scripture was established.

So for those centuries, Christians were worshipping and evangelizing without the same Bible we have today. They were operating on what had been orally communicated plus the OT Scripture and gospels, both legit and spurious.

There was no Catholic Church at the day of Penecost.

And to believe there was no written word of God is in direct dispute with the Book of John.

I'm gonna stop here.
