As a retired teacher of the old school, I look in horror at the present day teaching by liberals to impressionable youths....it's environment and political attacks rather than teaching subject matter...English, math, history are falling by the wayside while "feeling good" has become the goal. They don't seem to understand or care that first comes accomplishment, then feeling good about having accomplished something worthwhile.
Our local grammar school had a 'feelings' teacher for a while. Don't know if she's still there....and frankly I don't want to know!!! It's too painful.
