IMO, the only anti-amnesty proposal is the one that sends them home first and they must apply for citizenship, legally, like everyone else. Technically, all of the rest of the proposals, including Bush's, will eventually allow them to stay in this country and THAT is giving them amnesty. Unfortunately, even Bush is trying to 'pull a fast one' and I'm not buying.
Absolutely. If we "need" guest workers, let them be people who DIDN'T break our laws!!
