Some of our best conservative minds have suggested there will be no bill. Period.
The political climate is foreboding. Fallout from the rallies---- with Mexican flags flying, and the talk of American imperialism----indicates they were a huge turnoff.....and had a surprising effect.
The rallies succeeded in organizing Americans from both ends of the political spectrum into a unified force against amnesty and the illegal invasion.
This is a red-hot potato, and our legislators are too cowardly to take a position that would earn them nothing but scorn.
Let's flood our politicians in DC with American Flags. Millions of them. I'm going out Monday and buying flags for McCain, the Pres, etc. Small flags with a note attached, "PROCTECT OUR SOVREINTY" or "PROTECT AMERICA'S BORDERS" or "YOU TOOK AN OATH TO UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION - JUST DO IT."
FLOOD THEM WITH AMERICAN FLAGS.
I urge everyone to go to www.liddyshow.com to vote on a no amnesty petition. It is quick and easy. I would love this link in blue headlines but do not know how to do it. Can someone help?He needs 1 million signatures. It is about 17 thousand I believe now.
Speaking personally, I harbor no animus against the illegal aliens. For the most part, I understand their motivation and, put in the same spot, would probably cross the border looking for work myself.
Similarly, I don't harbor any animus toward the employers of illegal aliens. There has been no attempt to enforce the applicable laws and, in order to remain competitive, many employers have simply done what they had to do in order to survive.
In my view, the entire blame for the illegal immigration scandal lies at the feet of our elected officials. We've got laws; they've failed to enforce them. They've created the problem, they damn sure need to find the courage to solve it.
