Of course, I suppose you can simply choose not to watch any of the network shows or the cable shows and simply watch.

I watch news and sometimes a movie and that's about it.

But I don't have children at home either. When the grand kids are here either my wife or I monitor what they watch.

I try not to use foul language but it doesn't offend me personally to hear it on tv. My 4 adult children have never heard me use a curse word nor do they use them in my presence or any where else that I am aware of. I tried to teach them that it was a vile practice and a sure sign of ignorance

I am 60 years old and still haven't heard either of my parents use a curse word. My father is deceased now but my mother is alive and well and 86 years old.

My Mom is 85, not 86 and she might be tempted to use a curse word if she knew I added a year to her age.
