Apostate Cindy Sheehan Pimps Christ's Crucifixion for Photo Op
Saturday, April 15, 2006 | Kristinn

While millions of the world's Christian's spent Good Friday reaffirming their belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ by somberly observing the Stations of the Cross rite commemorating his crucifixion as an act of faith, anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan, who renounced her Catholic faith and belief in Christ in the wake of the combat death in Iraq two years ago this month of her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, paraded through Crawford, Texas yesterday carrying a large wooden cross on her shoulder as part of an anti-Iraq war protest targeting President Bush in his home town.

Sheehan, who has earned a reputation as a media hound without grace or dignity, sunk to a new low yesterday as an apostate trying to pimp the crucifixion of Jesus in the furtherance of her political ambitions.

As reported less than one month ago in the mainstream press, Sheehan abandoned her faith in Jesus for some universalist clap trap:

Sheehan has been severed from much of her old life -- or she has severed it herself. Her marriage, her job, her home. Loss of most of her friends, whom she cannot forgive for voting to re-elect Bush. Loss of her Catholic faith (a former youth pastor, she has abandoned Christianity and envisions a universal spiritual creator.)

Sheehan and her Marxist handlers realize, however, that most Americans profess Christian faith. Therefore they prey on that majority sentiment by using Christian imagery by erecting rows of crosses denoting soldiers killed in the Iraq war and by having Cindy mock Jesus' crucifixion while wearing an Impeach Bush t-shirt.

And, am I the only one who notices the rack?

I'm sure many people do, because their eyes pass over it as they lower their heads to the barfing position.

I'm an atheist and I cringed seeing that picture. It's such an arbitrary parody at a figure of importance to most Americans on this weekend which is most sacred to them.

This Christian thanks you for those thoughts.

Not that Dubya needs to be forgiven for Casey's death, but...She's going to find out how apt the following modern American proverb is:

"Refusing to forgive is like eating rat poison and expecting the other person to die."

Sheehan, her handlers and almost every serious Leftist antiwar activist are Marxists. That's a fact, and if you were paying attention, you'd know it.

That's really good. I hadn't heard it before but I'm going to remember it.

She is a Gold Star mother.

Since when is it acceptable for someone to lie, hate and commit slander because of the circumstances of their child's death? This woman has called Al Qaida terrorists, men who blow up schoolbuses and children getting a candy handout from our troops, "freedom fighters." Since when does losing a kid in combat excuse taking the side of the enemy and praising murderers? Is pimping your dead child OK now?

How many of your children have died in Iraq?

Why is that relevantr?

The fact that she disagrees with you on a matter of public policy -- and that she's exercising her First Amendment freedom to speak -- doesn't make her a "disease." It used to be that only in totalitarian countries was dissent from the government branded a "disease."

What a pathetic strawman. Leo called her a disease because she has pimped her dead son, drives a new care while he has no grave marker, lies, slanders, is a fifth columnist and now pimps the crucifxion. Why don't you argue facts instead of engaging in florid whining about poor, poor Cindy?

I think you do have a disease: Cranial rectal inversion syndrome.

Here's a column I wrote about Sheehan during her crawford heyday last year. Please read it and get some much needed education.

As most of you know, Cindy Sheehan is camped out near the President’s ranch in Crawford, Texas, demanding he meet with her and answer for her son Casey’s death in Iraq. I’d like Sheehan to answer some questions herself, and since the big media isn’t taking care of business (see my first question if you doubt me) I’d like a shot. If I could interview her, this is what I’d be asking:

I’d ask why, in an interview with Mark Knoller of CBS News, she said “But now that we have decimated the country, the borders are open, freedom fighters from other countries are going in…” (Oh, and I’d ask Mark Knoller why that statement never aired. If Donald Rumsfeld called these guys “freedom fighters” we’d hear about it for months.)

I’d ask how people who call themselves “Al Qaeda in Iraq” and are led by a Bin-laden lieutenant qualify as “freedom fighters.”

I’d ask about the recent incident where these “freedom fighters” rolled an SUV filled with explosives up to a group of children getting candy from American troops and blew them all up. Specifically, I’d ask what freedom those men were fighting for when they killed those children.

I’d ask her to cite one of the lies she says the Iraq war is based on—a specific checkable quote by the President, his staff or cabinet. Since the anti-war Left claims this lying went on for years, she should have no problem identifying one.

I’d ask her to do the same for any statement where an administration member blamed Iraq for the September 11th attacks.

I’d ask about the two different stories about her meeting with the President. In June 2004 she told her hometown newspaper the following: "I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss.” In 2005 she told Chris Matthews of MSNBC that Bush was grinning and “acted like he was at a party.”

I’d ask why, if Bush was such a lout at the event honoring her son, she is leaning in for him to kiss her on the cheek in one of the photos taken at the event.

I’d ask why she told that same newspaper she asked the President to make Casey’s death count for something, but now advocates a pullout.

I’d ask why she told an audience at San Francisco State University that America is not worth dying for, and that any view that America is a good country is…well, we won’t use that word in a family newspaper.

I’d ask why she told them that the Bush administration may have engineered or failed to stop the September 11th attacks to push their “neo-con agenda” through.

I’d ask why she called Osama bin-Laden an alleged terrorist down in Crawford on Thursday.

I’d ask why she opposed the liberation of Afghanistan. Were the Taliban “freedom fighters” too?

I’d ask why she told the press that her crusade has nothing to do with impeachment. Then I’d ask why she rode from Dallas to Crawford in an “Impeachment Campaign” bus.

I’d ask why she accepts support from Code Pink (who describe themselves as “holding down the fort for her at camp Casey”) and Veterans for Peace, organizations that have signed a “World Tribunal Statement” supporting the Iraqi “resistance” that killed her son.

I’d ask her opinion of Code Pink holding a war protest at Walter Reed Army Medical Center every Friday night that is scheduled so that wounded soldiers will see it.

Sheehan has said Bush has no right to use her son’s name to promote his war, so I would ask her if she and her comrades have asked each soldier’s family for permission to use his or her name on the white crosses they’ve displayed near their camp. If not, why are she and her supporters doing the same thing to these other families that she claims George Bush is doing?

I’d ask why at least one man has had to come over and remove his son’s name three times, because the peace protesters keep putting it back up.

I’d ask why she allied herself with Michael Moore, who promoted his politics with footage of a funeral and wounded soldiers over the objections of the family and the soldiers. One had been wounded in a flightline accident that could have happened anywhere. Portraying him as wounded in combat was lying for political purposes. Why one standard for Bush, and another for Moore?

I’d ask her if she applauded when Moore compared the “resistance” to the Minutemen who fought in the American Revolution.

I’d ask her to define “terrorist state,” since she says Iraq never was one.

And then I’d ask who in the world she thinks she’s fooling.

Thanks for the back up Mr. Silverback.
I was wondering when someone else would pitch in and agree
with my statement.
I definitely feel she is a 'disease' , a representative
of the current trend toward the disease of traitorism that is sweeping our dear country.
