I just can't get my head around this story, no matter how many times I read it or listen to it.
So, in Libya, there's a celebration of the day that Ronald Reagan bombed their country?
I mean, do we celebrate the day that British forces sailed up the Potomac and torched the White House?
How would we celebrate, with an Elton John Concert?
I still don't get it!!

I got no problem with this. We ought to celebrate this day here in the US as well. It was one of the few times since the 1960s that we actually took some effective action against people who were terrorists. Had there been 10 bombings instead of just this one, there would be no 9/11 memorial. It was the complete lack of reaction to islamofascists over a 30 year period which led to the formation of Al Qaeda.

Besides, Kaddafi basically admitted defeat and took the chip off his shoulder and stopped trying to be a terrorist nation. Its actually as close as you can get to a total victory in the war on terrorism.

We "observe" December 7th as a memorial to those who lost their lives. They Celebrate an attack on their country with Nicole Ritchie's fake Dad? Weird stuff.
