Iran is a threat. Our forces in Iraq are not prepared to fight Iran, and Iran can close off the straits temporarily blocking th gulf, posing major problems. If Iran attacked now we would have trouble. In this type of war the key is to strike first. We must take action soon, before Iran considers this. What scares me is we are not prepared in the current situation our troops are scattered around the world, and our carriers are vulnerable in the confines of the gulf. We need to not underestimate Iran. As long as we prepare, and take the initiative, and hit them first we can win with minimal casualties.
