A Health Care Professional indeed must be careful in matters of an intimate relationship with a person under their care. There is a potential for unethical conduct that must be avoided when a romantic entanglement is engaged. Physicians enjoy a high level of respect and authority which places them in a position of unequals vis-a-vis their patients. This is not to say relationships in and of themselves are illegal or unethical, just that any such relationship has special pitfalls to avoid.
