How sick can people be. A ten year old.... No matter how often I hear about cases like this, I'll never understand how someone could murder a child.

May God give peace and serenty to this little girl.

Yes, sick is right. And more than one person here: there is also the sicko who was "chatting" with her on the internet, using sexually explicit language. It appears they are treating this as two different cases, but some child predator was also trying to get to this little 10 year old.

You know, I've become anesthetized to the rest of the horrors, but have never, ever been able to digest the violence done to children. It destroys me. On a distantly related note, I am able to listen to Imus on my long commute/drive because of the ranch's purpose. He's an idiot, of course, but readily admits it; much more, the awful sickness children endure just kills him, and me too. It just flattens me.

My guess is that if he "inappropriately touched" this girl you'd be calling for his execution. Figuring that he has nothing to lose, he probably killed her to keep her from testifying.
