Shep's supposed to be fair and balanced, not unbiased.
All humans are biased. "Unbiased" journalism is what liberals call their outfits, like the NYT and CBS.
Shep is real, biased, sometimes over the top, but fair and balanced. That's why I like watching his show.
That's the Foxnews way. Its hosts don't have to hide their bias, they just have to allow time for the other side to offer an opposing viewpoint.
The alternative, the CNN and BBC "unbiased" journalists put me to sleep; besides, the "unbiased" reporters are the most biased of them all.
Thank you for your opinion.

In the summer of 2004, when John O'Neill and the Swiftboat Vets for Truth stepped forward to counter the "myth" of John Kerry with the truth about his service in Vietnam, Shepard Smith stated flatly on his show that the Swiftboat Vets were liars. He presented no evidence, he did no investigation, just HIS opinion. And, he has never retracted nor apologized for that accusation.
That one episode told me all I ever need to know about Shepard Smith.
